:: WORDS FROM THE GENERAL SECRETARY ::

The Federación Iberoamericana de Franquicias - FIAF is a non-profit entity, which join franchise associations from ten countries. The countries that integrate the FIAF are: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, Portugal, Spain, Uruguay and Venezuela.

The FIAF has as objective to keep an exchange of strategically and commercial information in the whole Iberian American.

Main Activities and Services:

• To arrange a site with basic information about every one of the country members;
• To divulge the calendar of the franchise fairs of each country;
• To promote two annual meetings, being one in the own seat, in Valencia – Spain;
• To promote and incentive the exchange of information about the markets;
• To contribute to the organization of the franchising in other countries of the Ibero-American region;
• To update the activities of each association inside its countries and
• To disseminate the good practices between the entity’s members.

From now on, the management and the control of the information of the official site of the entity will be done, directly, from Brazil, from where we will find the technological development as a fast and objective manner.

We will continue to work in an integrated manner, sharing the experience of good franchise practice worldwide, to act strongly in the help to the developing of the commercial relations between the countries, acting politically to assist the gathering of commercial agreements which bring benefits in the sector in each country.

The promotion of each country´s information trough FIAF´s communication channels (website, banners and folders), as well as the dynamics of this update, provides a rich and truth knowledge with the goal of make the actions of each market stronger.

For the future we intend to keep putting efforts in these channels and embracing new countries.
