Speeches, meetings, guided visits to the show and concept technical visits, among other activities full of networking opportunities were part of Grupo ABF’s programming for the NRA Show, one of the most important food service events worldwide. For the fourth consecutive year, the Brazilian delegation composed of 30 businessmen and executives arrived in Chicago (IL), where it stayed May 15-21. ABF was represented by André Friedheim, international director; Juarez Leão, training, courses and events director; Ângela Manzoni, education director; João Baptista Junior, Food Committee coordinator, and Vanessa Fiabane, international coordinator.

At the opening meeting, ABF’s curators informed the group about all of the most important lectures and seminars, and also listed the most interesting areas to visit at the show. Additionally, they introduced a series of innovative concepts that could be observed by the delegation.

The show, thoroughly visited by the group between the 16th and 19th, included guided visits to the Middleby, Taylor/Rational and Hoshizaki booths, all of which are suppliers of food service equipment. The American-Japanese manufacturer of food equipment offered a dinner to the Brazilian delegation at the renowned Maggiano’s restaurant, at which time Grupo ABF had the opportunity to meet the company’s new executives in Brazil.
